It's Christmas Eve and we're a day closer to our adventure to Guadalajara. Only 13 more days and we will be in the country of Mexico. Anxiety is sometimes overwhelming, but excitement keeps me going. Yesterday, I found out that plans for housing had fallen through. My plans seemed to be falling through. Trying desperately to control my anger and disappointment, I emptied my plans into the hands of my loving Father. Little did I know that He had gently taken those plans I had and had already begun orchestrate something new and so much better than I could have imagined.

It seems that I will be living with 1 or 2 families who are involved with starting the orphanage I'd like to help with. The person in charge of finding these families and for my transportation is the man starting the orphanage himself.

Then I found out that we will be led around by a body guard. How awesome is that!

Anyway, on we go heading for Mexico with the best Planner in charge...

Destination: Mexico

Well, fellow bloggers,
It's official. The tickets have been bought and I am heading to Mexico. January 5th, I will be boarding a plane headed toward Guadalajara Mexico destined for an amazing new experience. The main part of the trip will be focused on teaching fifth graders in an international school, but a bit of fun and adventure will definitely be thrown into the mix. From Guadalajara, I am heading over to Mexico City in April. It will be a time of reuniting of old friends and meeting new ones. What an adventure that lies ahead! On this blog, you will be able to keep up with my thoughts building up to the great escape to the country of Mexico and then about my time while I am there. Enjoy...

Mexico, get ready cuz here I come!
